Powers: The ability to drain energy from people and powers from mutants as well as their life force in a similarity of Rogue's powers yet Parasite MUST do this in order to keep alive. She is able to drain any life force but plants will normally die under her touch so she prefers to touch animals for food purposes. However she prefers to 'feed' off of humans over animals because of her attachment to animals. Her training has made possible that she can only drain what is needed and a collar damper for social contact.

• Personality: Anna is a friendly and loving person but might not seem aware of her situation nor does she act like an adult. Her personality is eternally childlike because of so much abuse and tragedy in her life. In battle her personality quickly changes into something more serious and not quite as loveable causing few to believe she might have MPD however this has been dismissed due to her awareness of what happened during her personality switch. No matter what, Anna has an affectionate disposition towards animals and gives her superiors constant headaches for dragging home wounded animals.

• History: Anna was born in the twilight years of the USSR and was apart of a failed superhuman project created during Nuclear Arms Stockpile during the Reagan years. The project was started up in belief that the US was planning to attack the USSR. However the break up the USSR canceled the project despite Anna and four other children/super humans became wards of the new Russian government.
  When Anna was eleven the Russian government couldn't afford to take care of it's five wards so they were given to different countries. She was the lucky one and she was given to the US government yet was given no other clues about her past or the fate to the other 4 children. From what US officials could tell she was sufficiently abused by the Soviet Government. She was skittish and terribly afraid of the dark, deathly afraid of fire, and gunshots. Under the wing of two gentle caretakers Anna began to adjust to a normal childhood when her mutant powers broke out, draining the life out of one of her school friends.
  Her guardians kept her but as a reaction to killing her friend whose death was classified as heart failure Anna's personality reverted to a child's as if trying to protect herself from the reality of her powers. Her guardians refused to believe Anna was a mutant and only accepted a collar that damped Anna's powers as she attempted to live a normal life. This worked until her guardians found out it was necessary for her to literally feed off the energy she gained by draining people. Using animals they helped Anna to learn how to control her powers. Eventually word about the 'vampire' reached the word of Avengers who became more than willing to take care of the insane if loving young woman.
